It has been the most interesting day....

Still wasn't feeling great yesterday... didn't get my hump done in the house~but did get the letters...  H~hair cut, U~ under the weather still?, M~motor vehicle insurance taken care of and P~eye brows plucked!
I know, I know~not what it was intended... I will try harder today~well as health allows.

Okay, worn completely out~still having flu like symptoms but I did get 5 loads of laundry done.  I was able to accomplish more letters also~H-hung two hooks for purses in the closet (that frees up some shelf room!) and M~ made the bed up after laundering the linens!  Let's see that leaves P~  guess you could say I 'populated' the file box with new folders and files for 2012~  Works for me!

Working on my 'hump' for the day~ so far I have:
U~uncovered the furniture to wash up and unmade the bed to wash up!  2 U's!
Let's see what other things I can come up with... Still have H, M and P to go!

Had to come up with a plan to get motivated... I think I have done it~   Today, I am initiating and the HUMP plan~

H- hang,
U- unpack,
M- move
P- pack~
There can be alot of possibilities!

Since Jim is gone~what better time to start...

Sent Jim a birthday goodie tower to work from FTD~ Thanks Swagbucks!  He loved it~really didn't want lunch when he got home at noon, said he had been snacking all morning.  Guess he liked his Treat tower...

Mixed up a meatloaf for tonight, Cube steaks for tomorrow and Turkey for Sunday~ Don't know about Monday yet and he leaves Tuesday~

Really need to get busy and get some more boxes unpacked, but first have to get rid of the empty ones so I have more room to put things away!  Still can't find my rollars or irons! 

Plan on getting alot done AFTER Tuesday!  I can always get more done when I don't have to stop and fix lunch~  Hope to get the girls room put together somewhat and get their beds purchased, (sure wish the house would sell) get their bedding and stuff.  Need to get the doll cabinet moved and set up~sure hope they don't break the glass or pull it over on themselves!  Yikes~!

Gee, failed big time yesterday on getting the things done I had listed the previous day~ BUT I did get two boxes unpacked and put away in the closet!  Thanks for Bby for putting up the shelves!  Will try to get some more done today as in Christmas~ I always feel depressed after taking down the brightly colored Christmas decor so will try leaving the 'winter' things out~

List for tomorrow will include putting away 'Christmas' type decor, but I think I will leave out the 'winter' things~make two different totes! 
Working on the file cabinet~out with the old in with the new 2012~

Got to get the lead out today and get busy.. try to divide my time wisely.  The plan for the day~ 1) Daily things, chores
2) pick a room and do 2 things to further the progress.
3) menu for next week (should be easy as Jim is gone then)

Tomorrow, grocery list and day 2 on my routine?

Trying to put a plan together~ I need to find a delicate balance between computer and chores!  I do still have a house that needs put together!  This won't be easy~

I think the cookies went well, the recipe was suppose to make 4 doz... I have 2 doz left~ I do believe Jim likes them! 

In the cooking mood today... made so far ~beef and noodles, rice (for breakfasts)and working on those cookies I didn't make yesterday.  While I have the oven on going to "try" something~  Had some left over crescent rolls~ will let you know how that works out... back to the kitchen! 

Oatmeal cranberry walnut cookies?

I made bread yesterday, plus had an 'oven' dinner~  Think since the high today is only going to be 29° I might bake some cookies! 

Brand new day..

I awoke to snow..not a first since moving here, but a first for the new year of 2012.  Snow is nothing new to me since I grew up in Ohio~the winters here in MO seem, I say "seem" with tongue in cheek~milder.  Oklahoma had very mild winters~rare to have snow and when they did! Whew~ watch out!  Those folks don't know how to drive on it!
It was 18° when I got up at 6a~wind chill was 4°~

Oh my, what have I done?

Well, this will certainly be new and exciting!?
